I'm a big believer in raising tortoises for the first year in warm, humid conditions to promote good shell and skeletal growth so mine have been all started that way.
They are all eating mixed greens, kale, Hibiscus leaves and flowers, dandelions, and various grasses.
I don't ship until the tortoise is at least 30 grams which is usually 3 months old at least. Often I wait until 50 grams and 6 months old. I want to be sure it is eating well, digesting well and growing well.
The letter at the end of a title (Marginated G) signifies the Water-Base colored dots on its back. It will wash off easily over time.
